Infrared Salt Sauna Frequently Asked Questions
Our Infrared Salt Sauna is more than just a sauna—it's a personalized wellness experience designed to help you relax, restore, and recharge. Every session can be customized with optional halotherapy (dry salt therapy), red light therapy, and chromotherapy, allowing you to create the experience that's right for you.
Whether you're visiting for stress relief, muscle recovery, respiratory support, or simply a quiet moment to yourself, these frequently asked questions will help you know what to expect.

What is an infrared sauna?
Unlike a traditional sauna that heats the air around you, an infrared sauna uses gentle infrared light to warm your body directly. This creates a comfortable, deeply warming experience that encourages a therapeutic sweat while operating at a lower temperature than a conventional sauna.
What are the benefits of infrared sauna therapy?
Regular infrared sauna sessions may help:
-
Promote deep relaxation
-
Ease muscle soreness and joint stiffness
-
Support healthy circulation
-
Encourage the body's natural detoxification through perspiration
-
Reduce stress and tension
-
Aid post-workout recovery
-
Improve overall wellness and recovery
Many guests also find that regular sessions leave them feeling refreshed, energized, and sleeping more soundly.
What is halotherapy (dry salt therapy)?
Halotherapy is an optional feature available during your session. Pharmaceutical-grade salt is finely dispersed into the air, allowing you to breathe microscopic salt particles deep into the respiratory system.
Many people use halotherapy to help support:
-
Respiratory wellness
-
Seasonal allergies
-
Congestion
-
Asthma (with physician approval)
-
Sinus health
-
Skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis
The salt is dry, invisible, and leaves no residue on your skin or clothing.
* Please note that the salt generator automatically shuts off when the sauna temperature gets above 40 C.
How long are sauna sessions?
Choose from:
-
20 minutes – Perfect for beginners or a quick wellness reset
-
30 minutes – Our most popular option
-
45 minutes – Ideal for experienced sauna users seeking a longer relaxation session
If you're new to infrared sauna therapy, we recommend starting with a shorter session and gradually increasing your time.
Can more than one person use the sauna?
Yes! Our sauna comfortably accommodates up to three guests, making it a wonderful experience to enjoy with a partner, family member, or friend. Couples and small groups are welcome to book together.
What is chromotherapy?
Chromotherapy, also known as colour light therapy, uses different colours of light to help create a calming atmosphere and enhance relaxation.
You can select your preferred colour during your session or simply enjoy the gentle colour-changing light display.
What temperature is the sauna?
Our infrared salt sauna offers three temperature options, allowing you to customize your session based on your comfort level and wellness goals.
No Heat
Perfect for guests who would like to enjoy halotherapy (dry salt therapy), red light therapy, chromotherapy, or aromatherapy without added warmth. This is a wonderful option for those who are heat-sensitive or simply prefer a cooler wellness experience.
Low Heat — up to 32°C
Ideal for guests who prefer a gentle warming experience or are new to infrared sauna therapy. This setting pairs beautifully with halotherapy, meditation, reading, or quiet relaxation without feeling overheated.
High Heat — up to approximately 52°C
Best for those seeking a deeper sweat and a more traditional sauna experience. This option is ideal for muscle recovery, post-workout relaxation, and guests who enjoy more intense heat.
