INFRARED WARMTH • DRY SALT THERAPY • RESTORATIVE TIME

Infrared Salt Sauna

Step away from the noise and settle into a private sauna experience designed around your comfort. Enjoy gentle infrared warmth, optional dry salt therapy, customizable lighting and uninterrupted time to rest, recharge and reconnect.

YOUR SESSION, YOUR WAY

A Sauna Experience Designed Around You

Our three-person HaloSauna brings several restorative wellness features together in one peaceful, private experience. Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared heat gently warms the body without requiring the room to reach extremely high temperatures.

Each session can be personalized according to your preferences and eligibility. Choose a lower or higher temperature, add dry salt therapy, select your preferred lighting and settle in for 20, 30 or 45 minutes of quiet restorative time.

Prefer to skip the heat? No-heat sessions are also available for guests who would like to enjoy dry salt therapy, red light or a peaceful place to unwind without a traditional sauna experience.

Whether you visit alone or share the experience with someone, this is your time to slow down—without phones ringing, appointments waiting or anyone asking you for something.

Customizable Heat

Choose either a low-heat session, with a maximum temperature of 32°C, or a high-heat session, reaching up to approximately 52°C, based on your comfort and eligibility. No heat is also available.

Dry Salt Therapy

Add micronized dry salt or enjoy your session without halotherapy.

Red Light

PREPARING FOR YOUR SAUNA APPOINTMENT

Before You Arrive

A little preparation makes your sauna experience considerably more comfortable.

  • Arrive well hydrated.
  • Avoid arriving on an empty stomach or immediately after a heavy meal.
  • Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs before your session.
  • Remove metal jewellery if it becomes uncomfortable when heated.
  • Let us know about any medical conditions, medications, recent procedures or changes in your health.
  • Do not apply heavily fragranced products before entering the sauna.
  • Stop the session immediately if you feel unwell.

Water, towels, robes, and towel wraps are provided.

Is Infrared Sauna Right for Everyone?

Infrared sauna and halotherapy are wellness services and are not appropriate for every guest. Medical clearance may be required if you:

  • Are pregnant or may be pregnant
  • Have cardiovascular disease, unstable blood pressure or a history of fainting
  • Have a pacemaker, implanted device or other condition affected by heat
  • Have a chronic respiratory condition, including asthma or COPD
  • Have impaired temperature sensation or difficulty regulating body temperature
  • Are taking medications that affect hydration, sweating, circulation or heat tolerance
  • Have a fever, active infection or contagious illness
  • Are dehydrated or have recently consumed alcohol
  • Have recently undergone surgery or experienced an acute injury
  • Have another condition that may be aggravated by heat or inhaled salt

Minors require consent from a parent or legal guardian and may be subject to additional temperature and session-length restrictions.

When in doubt, please consult your healthcare provider before booking. Completing an intake form does not replace medical advice.

FAQs

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing. We will explain the available options and provide privacy so you can choose what feels appropriate and comfortable.

How often can I book?

Frequency depends on your heat tolerance, health, hydration and goals. Begin gradually and allow your body to guide the frequency rather than assuming more is always better.

Is an infrared sauna as hot as a traditional sauna?

Infrared saunas generally operate at lower air temperatures than traditional saunas. At La Luma, sessions can begin at approximately 32°C and reach approximately 52°C. Your settings can be adjusted according to your comfort and eligibility.

Do I have to use the salt?

No. Halotherapy is completely optional. You may choose salt or no salt for each visit.

Can I use the sauna without heat?

Yes. We offer no-heat options for guests who would like to experience dry salt therapy, red light or quiet restorative time without infrared heat.

Will I sweat during my session?

Many guests perspire as their bodies warm, but the amount varies considerably. Sweating more does not necessarily mean that a session is more effective.

Can two people use the sauna together?

Yes. Couples sessions and ten-session couples packages are available. Each guest must complete the required intake.

Can I use the sauna while pregnant?

We do not recommend heat-based sauna sessions during pregnancy without specific medical clearance. Contact us before booking so we can discuss whether a no-heat option may be appropriate.

Can children or teenagers use the sauna?

Minors require parental or legal guardian consent. Age, temperature and session-length restrictions apply, and not every sauna option will be suitable.

Can I bring my phone inside?

We recommend leaving electronics outside the sauna. Heat may damage your device, and the experience is much more restorative when you give yourself permission to disconnect.

Is halotherapy a medical treatment?

No. Halotherapy is offered as a complementary wellness experience and is not a replacement for medical care, medication or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
